When you decide to give text marketing a try, it can be hard to know what to say in your first few bulk texts. The aim is to get people to act on what you say, so you need to word it carefully. To help you out, we've listed our four top tips for writing a marketing text and provided loads of examples to get you on the right track.
When writing a marketing text bear in mind that not only is it about what you say, it's also about the way you say it. For your text marketing to be successful always follow these four rules:
1. Aim to be short and sweet.
2. Create a sense of urgency.
3. Tell people how you'd like them to take action.
4. Always use a link shortener (like bit.ly) when adding any links in your texts. If not they'll take up too many characters, plus a shortened link always looks neater.
